Established in 2016, Miami LNG was Florida’s first privately owned liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility and first in the continental U.S to export LNG to non-free trade agreement countries. From Miami, we supply LNG to commercial, industrial, and utility customers across the Southeastern U.S. and the Caribbean.
We deliver integrated gas-to-power solutions to our customers. Operating a 100,000-gallon-per-day liquefaction facility with 270,000 gallons of onsite storage in Miami, Florida, we offer not only in-house LNG, but the logistics, equipment and financing to support customers' transition to LNG.
Miami LNG serves a diverse group of sectors to help customers adopt cleaner fuel solutions with tailored support in logistics, financing, and infrastructure. We are there to meet the needs of the growing number of businesses and utilities transitioning to sustainable energy sources.
"We are excited to reach this agreement to become the new owners of the Miami facility, which is a great representation of the investment profile we look for in Pennybacker's differentiated infrastructure strategy. Through our ownership, we look forward to serving existing Miami facility customers and also providing cost-effective and sustainable LNG solutions to new domestic and Caribbean customers."
Sam Warfield, Managing Director and Head of Infrastructure at Pennybacker
